The INSB200™ Difference

Journey of a PNB Injection

INSB200™ is designed to deliver sustained analgesia (or pain relief). Our proprietary depot technology elutes ropivacaine from the injection site to adjacent peripheral nerves, providing several days of extended pain relief.

01

Injection
INSB200 injected adjacent to a peripheral nerve bundle.

The INSB200™ liquid PNB formulation is injected adjacent to the target peripheral nerve bundle.

02

Initial Release
Initial release of ropivacaine following injection.

Following injection, ropivacaine is released at a rate sufficient to produce a nerve block and reaches its maximum blood concentration.

03

Sustained Pain Relief
Sustained release of ropivacaine from the localized formulation.

Ropivacaine is gradually released from the emulsion at a clinically significant level to manage pain and eliminate the need for opioid rescue medications.

04

Gradual Clearance
Gradual clearance as ropivacaine concentration decreases.
Natural elimination of the sustained-release carrier.

As the product is used up, ropivacaine concentrations gradually decline and the drug is eliminated from the patient.

05

Natural Elimination

The INSB200™ sustained-release emulsion carrier is naturally eliminated from the injection site and the body.
